I've struggled to maintain a healthy body weight since my teens. Now that I am mothering two girls I feel it is even more important to model choices that support a healthy mind, body, and spirit. My primary goal is to build muscle and lose fat. I'd like to get down to 20% body fat and see where that lands me for a number on the scale. I imagine it will be around 135-140lbs.

My challenges are staying motivated, eating on a budget, working out with a 1.5 and 3.5 year old, and not making my husband feel like he is on a diet.

My solutions to the challenges:

Feeding my motivation by following transformation and fitness blogs and looking at transformation pictures as often as I can throughout the week.

Continuing to cook from scratch, buy seasonally, shop sales, and shop discount markets. Coupon when possible.

Completing workouts five days per week...3 cardio and 2 body building. Do what I can when I can and not worry about it too much if I lose a day due to kids being kids.
