A healthy weight for my height is below 72.4kg. A medication had me put on 20kg over Autumn 2022, from 69 to 89kg. After a year on this app, I reached a healthy weight again! But I'm always battling my sweet tooth and comfort eating and insulin resistance...
Keeping blood sugar levels more stable is the goal. To reduce cravings and blood sugar spikes, fibre and protein should be eaten first in any meal (this slows down the absorption of carbs). Blood sugar spikes cause more insulin to be released, which makes you crave sugar even more!
