I got married last year and was a whopping 180. Which I was actually happy with because I had lost down from 220!! Then more than a few tragic events caused me to spiral into a bit of a depression and I developed some major anxiety issues, causing me not to really care about myself anymore....
But I'm getting better everyday and have developed a new outlook on life and weightloss and a great new motivation to look good and feel great! I hope to reach 200 pounds by Christmas of 2008...but at the rate I'm going now I might get there sooner than that! :) *fingers crossed!!!!*
I'm always looking for a buddy to chat with, my new diet that I'm trying is similar to Adkins, you just count lean protein instead of carbohydrates, same basic principles however. No bread, no "white stuff," 2 servings of veggies and 2 servings of fruit each day.
I'm very pleased with it so far.
I'm also beginning to take a supplement called calcium pyruvate, 2 tablets 4 times a day, B12, B6, and a multivitamin once a day.
The only thing I'm having trouble with is all the supplementation, I love the food!
