I was quite obsessed with healthy diet since mid 2017, I cut carbs to very minimum and eat much veggie and meat. Exercise 3-4 times a week; 1-hr Pilates on Mon, 1-hr Body Combat on Tue, 45-mins Weight training with private trainer on Sat.
Sounds ideal right?
But my weight is not even dropping, in fact, it increased!
I forgot to mention, I work from 2pm-12am every day, Mon-Fri, so sleeping time is a challenge. Having said that, I am stress eater, so I constantly felt hungry in the office where so many sweet snacks are available.

During my last medical checkup in January 2018 (after Christmas and NY), I had fatty liver, almost-over-limit Cholestrol, good Glucose level. The Doctor who checked me could not believe when I described how my diet and exercise regime I had. I was not necessarily couch potato, so to get worse reading, it was not expected. So she sent me to specialist, endocrinologist.

I was diagnosed with Pre-Diabetes Type 2, insulin resistance, in which the body produces more insulin than it is needed. In long run, it will lead to diabetes and other problem.

In April 2018, that was when I started the fight to gain control of myself.
