I'm a mid 50's, happily married woman and mommy to 5 furkids. I have about 50 lbs to loose. I was doing Adkins and lost a little over 20 lbs but it's stopped working for me and I have stayed at the same weight for months. I decided to just count calories, stay away from processed foods and keep my sweet tooth in check.
My husband has been on the journey with me and is extremely supportive as he has about the same amount of weight to loose as me. We have bought new mountain bikes and I signed up with Planet Fitness.....now the rest is up to me.
