I'm an avid fitness enthusiast and love to train in the gym as often as I can (usually 6 days a week). I also love food so I am careful to track everything I eat and make sure to fit my favorite ... um ... less healthy foods into my diet regularly while sticking to my target so I can continue progressing toward my goals. I've never been very overweight but there have been some times where I let things go and didn't exercise or eat right. But the last few years I've really enjoyed living a consistent, healthy lifestyle and also helping others along the way by sharing what I have learned and experienced. I am always motivated and inspired by following the journeys of people from all walks of life with a variety of fitness goals.

Out of my passion for fitness and helping others, I put my skills to work as a software engineer and started MyFitStatus.com where we have developed a unique tracking app (integrated with FatSecret) that allows people to plan, track and analyze detailed workout, nutrition and body measurement data. The app performs deep analysis to provide automated recommendations for changes to your nutrition (calories, protein, fat, carbs) and workouts to keep you progressing toward your specific goals whether they be fat loss or muscle gain.
