Me... I'm just me. I don't judge others. I do judge myself, though. I dislike my size and shape right now. Want to try (AGAIN) to do something about it. I want my health, energy, positive body image and self respect back.

Turned 50 this month. (sigh)

All was well and good until I had a child at 40, then the rollercoaster weight ride began. AND I have hypothyroid. AND I'm peri-menopausal. AND I have a sedentary job (office/desk work). AND there isn't much time for ME.

I'm going to take a stAND for myself! I will MAKE time for me, even if it's 20 minutes per day.

Would like to take off 20lbs by mid-may and 30 by mid-July. I think I'm setting a realistic goal. I'll never be the size I was pre-marriage/4-days-per-week-dancing days, but a healthier weight and some toning would make me happy.

I appreciate and offer encouragement to all on this site!
