So tired. My mom came by at 8:30 this morning for a shopping day. Oh my! First the post office than my bank. Next store 1 then store 2. After that store 3, 4, 5 and then store 6 and 7. NO MORE! I got a little even though. I "accidentally" forgot the 1 store I wanted to go to was on the other side of the mall. (Only one store visited in the mall) I had her walk 1/2 mile to the store and then 1/2 mile back to the car. We did stop for lunch, her treat. Panera Bread. My normally favorite place to eat in the mall but I'm low carbs and can't. I found the chicken Cesar salad, minus the croutons wasn't too bad. I ate half of it and then saved the rest for later. My son was ready to cry by the end of the shopping day. We got home and I took a nap from it.

I apologize for your mom. I do that too. It's really hard unless you rest up first. I never realized how truly hard it was on my family. They are not shopping-inspired-addicted, although they love to shop. They just don't understand the 26 mile shopping marathon. It's like the Boston marathon, without the crowds, and it's combined with a scavenger hunt. It's supposed to be fun. I'm sorry, really. I'm sure your mom didn't mean to hurt you.

No, just tired. I hate shopping with my mom BUT I know how lucky I am to still have her in my life so I just go with it. I figured the extra mile walk, which I knew I would be too tired to do later, would do her good. (And make her too tired too shop more). The hardest part of the day I think was Panera's for lunch.
