First - let me thank everyone for their comments on my last journal. By way of explanation, FIL had passed away last winter but they scheduled Father's Day to bury his ashes.
I've been back since Monday night but so much was going on. First a couple on a motorcycle were killed right in front of my house and driver (of car) fled scene. Then a neighbor (from childhood home) was murdered. Fortunately it has been so busy at work I haven't had time to dwell on any of this.
So, starting today, I am back to faithfully recording food.
