Today I just feel yucky! Physically the heat is knocking me down, I am drinking lots of fluids and being extra careful on salt and still I feel like a over filled water balloon!
Then emotionally I've had another blow yesterday when I found out my ex-father-in-law is not doing well again! This has brought up some bad memories, and I feel the pain of other family members. I also feel weak because I just could not face to hospital last night. Plus I used that as an excuse to not do anything because what if I was in the middle of something and got the call.
But we must carry on and face these daily challenges. The weather will cool eventually and physically I will feel okay again. And my ex father-in-law will do what is best for him. Whether he survives this newest set back is truly up to him.

We have just got to go THROUGH these things. Sometimes there is no way under, over, around, or back. The only way is THROUGH. When I was MUCH younger we attended a family picnic. I took all the TODDLER neices to the park pool. We had to go through a scary sanitizing shower in the "bath house" before we got to the pool. My neices were SCREAMING & crying. I said, "Come on, Kids! Let's run THROUGH." We did. We made it to the fun pool. So. I am telling you. "Come on Kid! Let's run through!"

I'm so sorry. The hardest part is enduring the rough patches. You've got the strength in you, just let it take over.
