Sometimes I wish I had never quit smoking almost 2 years ago. I know it should be better for my health without the cigarettes and it probably is BUT the weight I gained and can't seem to lose from quitting stinks! I gained about 80 pounds. I wasn't "skinny" to begin with but I was comfortable at 150 without feeling super fat. I know I can't blame it all on smoking but once in a while I just want to. Now my goal is in my "ideal" weight range and I'm hoping I can get there. Losing weight was easier pre-quitting but it was worth it (most days) Now it takes twice as long to lose a pound as it did before. Another thing about not smoking is my son and I go to Busch Gardens a ton and I don't have to stop and smoke every time I pass a smoking section. More rides!
