The Eades have some excellent advice....the first low-carb "diet" I did was Protein Power. It introduced me for the first time to ideas that went contrary to the infamous Food Pyramid. Even now, I can find some good ideas and thoughts on his blog.

Yes I think protein is our friend..and fats and well you get the picture...LOL...I really think the food pyramid sucks...:O)

Awww, NUTS, Ya just had to know it wasn't going to be easy...if you want a really good example of how to eat low carb but a whole lot of calories just take a peek at one of my weekends, just chuck full of nuts & cheese & lots of other low carb, high calorie goodies...it always makes me wonder just how many calories I used to eat all the time...small wonder I was fat (said very sarcastically)!

GG - I think that was the problem. The first 20 lbs. were easy. The next 20 will be much harder. And I don't have much hope for the final 10. But that doesn't mean it can't be done.
