I should have mentioned this earlier, but I'm on hiatus right now and only maintaining rather than trying to lose weight. I have a chronic shoulder injury that's blocking me from most of the exercise that I want to do, and I feel like dieting is likely causing me to lose too much muscle.
Instead of trying to lose weight, I'm following the same general principles and habits (eat real foods, buy fresh and cook myself, pay attention to portion sizes, don't be a dumb$#!+, minimize junk food) but not obsessing over the details.
