Today was food truck festival day, which could've been a disaster. But I researched which trucks would be there, found their menus online, and decided on several items I felt comfortable eating.
I ended up having a latte with almond milk when we arrived, an order of spinach artichoke "meat"balls later on, then some tostones (fried plantains) towards the end. The tostones had a high-ish amount of carbs, but I had basically no carbs in anything else today so I was still under 40.
It was great to indulge in delicious foods without guilt or the calorie-shock that comes when I eat first and log later.
