I started my serious weight loss journey in July. Since then I have lost 11 pounds with a few weeks of gaining a few back due to eating wrong. I have been overweight for most of my married life. After my son was born in 2001 I didn't do much to lose the extra weight and 3 year later when I had my daughter I didn't do much then either. I lost some from just being a Mom and running around but not seriously until three years ago. I started Weight Watchers and walking every day. Money was tight and I had to drop WW and then I fell and my ankle wouldn't allow me to walk for quite awhile. In January of this year I stepped on a scale for the first time in a long time. 225 lbs. I have never been so heavy in my life. Instead of doing something about it I just went and ate more food to comfort myself. In March I started having major stomach issues. I will not go into the gross details but not nice. I was told I had to change my diet or it would only get worse. Finally the health scare to knock some sense into me. I only wish I had done it on my own but oh well. By April I was changing my diet big time. Not perfect but getting better. May I started walking and had changed my diet completely. By July I was losing weight, down to 207 and that is when I start Crossfit. Everyday I would get up and walk for a hour, if it wasn't to hot out, or rode my stationary bike for 30 mins. Then I would spend the next 45 mins or so working on my crossfit stuff. As time went on I noticed the changes and that leads me to today where I have gotten down to 196.2.

No here is my problem. I liked the weight loss a little too much. I started cutting back more and more on the food I was eating. My mood was changing because I was starving myself. That is what lead me here to this website. I wanted the tips, ideas etc that it offered and it also made me realize what I was doing. I want to keep losing weight but the healthy way. So I am going to keep a journal going on here to share my highs and lows. Now lets do this the right way.
