The scale moved favorably for me again today- quite to my surprise. Not a big drop, though considering I wasn't expecting to see any loss I am happy with it. What I am not happy with is how I ate for breakfast this morning. I started out ok but didn't stop when I should have. I also "cleaned up" after my daughter (a bad habit of mine where I finish the food she didn't eat from her breakfast). I don't see myself realistically staying within my RDI today, but I want to try to keep to 2000 calories or less for the day. I think I can do that if I practice a moderate level of self control. I am also hoping that I overestimated my calories because I didn't measure carefully the second helping of oatmeal or the evaporated milk. That was a really dumb move on my part. At least I know what I can change next time.
