Good Morning FS buddies :) Happy Friday Eve!

My first night of no longer being in a long distance relationship was a bit of a flop in regards to my diet. We had planned to go grocery shopping, but decided to go after we ate. Which means we went out to dinner at our normal spot. Something about beer and trivia just appeals to us. Although I was not as bad as I used to be (3-4 big beers, one or two appetizers and deep fried chicken wings), I still was not as good as I could have been. Unfortunately logging my food from that place isn't easy so I haven't done it yet. It was a good night. Just me, my daughter and my fiance. And of course since we were there for 2+ hours grocery shopping DID NOT HAPPEN. He would have been up for it, but I had been up since 4:30 so by 7, I was a major cranky pants!

I decided I would just squeeze it in to my already packed day... unless he really does go get enough to get us through today and tomorrow. I guess we'll see. He has only shopped for us without me one other time and granted it was mainly for stuff for him (we eat totally different unless I am cooking for us) but it was things like frozen pizzas, canned raviolis, banquet frozen meals, etc.

I already have to meet up with the bestie (whom I haven't seen in over a week due to her lack of motivation to work out) and go shopping. I have to get a present for a co-workers bachelorette party tomorrow night and a present for my future sister in law's bridal shower on Saturday. I am very limited for that one though.... what kind of fun things can you buy when your very religeous future mother in law is going to be there?????

Saturday night is date night, we have not had an alone night one the weekend in I can't even tell you how long. I was debating taking him out to the drive in and out to dinner (or dinner in the car) but I am reconsidering that now. I know that after my late night tomorrow and early morning/long day on Saturday that I will probably fall asleep during a movie.

I bumped up my running speed the last few days and I really feel like I am working. I am dripping sweat by the time I am done. Woo Hoo! Excited to get back on track and adjust to my new "normal life" and hopefully see the scale start moving again :)

Maybe when you and your guy get adjusted to him being around all the time the eating will be easier (especially when he sees how hard you're working). I got my sister-in-law some nice wine glasses and a couple of bottles of wine for her bridal shower, because I was afraid her mom would object to anything too race-y. Hope you have fun this weekend, even if you are exhausted!
