Good morning FS Friends! A glorious Monday morning with the pouring down rain, thunder and lightning. Had an intoxicating breeze spilling in my bedroom windows that made me sleep like a baby. Unfortunately, it made me sleep so well that I did not get up in time to do anything aerobic - unless rushing into the shower counts. :) Got a lot done over the weekend, staying busy throughout. Even did a little mowing for the first time - after changing out the water pump and battery on the compact tractor. It was great to finally get around to getting that done. After yesterday's five mile run, I was a little stiff and uncomfortable, but nothing a couple tylenol didn't fix. Don't hurt as much this morning as I thought I would. Normally I wouldn't have been all that uncomfortable after only a five mile run, but I may have pushed it a bit more than I normally would, since I had cut back on the mileage over the last couple weeks. It looks like I'm going to live, so maybe I'll go the same distance next Sunday. I am changing my strategy somewhat - taking a more gradual transition to the longer distances. The last eight mile run had me halting on my hips for a week or two, so I am thinking that might have been a little too much too fast. Thanks Jillian. I am going back to using my own head instead of some pre-packaged routine that works for the masses. Here's wishing everyone a great day today!
