Finally. My gut is feeling better after the recent food poisoning. Yesterday I was able to stay under my RDI, yet, still eat a Wendy's Dave's triple hamburger with cheese, (~1000+ Kcal, all the way of course), not a hamburger I would term as delicious but more as a medicine to calm my tummy. It worked, I think, And I was able to resist the carb-loaded fries!
Childhood abuse exacts a terrible toll on the adult psyche and behavior. I have to keep this in mind, when I am thinking about my current situation. I have to keep this front and center, when I communicate, either written or, especially, talking live in my relationship goings-ons.
This, is so damn hard, difficult, such a pain in the ass.
OK this is where I insert one of those trite sayings that I despise, but, I do find aid and comfort by use of.
"Oh well". - - thanks to my good friend, Dinah, who has endured her own unspeakable hell, To emerge on the bright side, for that mantra.
