PASTA POUND
OK people - last night I was tired and totally stressed and ate pasta with my husband. See that pound up? It is a pasta pound! I felt so bloated afterwards that I couldn't even exercise.
Today I am making things right. Will go back to keeping my eye on carbs and calories - and my exercise room will be in full use tonight!

Buffy,Step away from the pasta..I made 3 pans of homemade lasagna with my pasta over the holiday and managed not to eat any,however the rum cake didn't fare as well.Totally miserable
afterwards.Cravings,gas,bloat,you name it.Feel well and have a good day.nonna

Nonna - I made baked Ziti and it took longer than I expected. I didn't even want any but I was tired and hungry and hadn't followed my Number One Advice - ALWAYS HAVE LOW CARB SNACKS CLOSE AT HAND. How old do I have to get before I finally get this stuff?

Buffy, I had some pasta at the Olive Garden when my friend from church took me out for dinner and I let her order. I could not eat even 2 mouthfuls...it just didn't taste very good anymore. After dinner we sat around and chatted for an hour or so, and by the time I got in my car...OMgosh the gas! Sorry, TMI, but it was CRAZY! When I got home my hubby said "WHAT in the world did you eat???" I have not had gas like that in such a long time...so no more pasta for this girl...my body just isn't geared to it anymore. Have a great day, and enjoy that exercise room!!

Stef - that is why I couldn't exercise last night. Funny, I can eat oatmeal so it must be the wheat that doesn't like me.

I think it is the gluten in the wheat...have you read Wheat Belly yet? Eye opening!

Buffy so annoying I know but I feel the same as you, sometimes I have all the good stuff to snack on etc that I can eat...but I feel like a big fat pig and have to eat the bad stuff, I think it is like a drug for me have to fight through it.....it is tough...but we all do it....just keep plugging away I have faith in you. Also you have to think you make way more good choices than bad.....so you are rocking....not only that you are still here and owning up to your bad behavior......that is the only way to crack it.......right with you girly......

Yvonne - you are very sweet - but you've got to start being as nice to yourself as you are to others. Look at all the stress you've had - yet you are still here! In another week all that Holiday weight will be just a bad memory.
