I had a really unusual day yesterday, I was attending the funeral of a friend, so wasn’t sure if it would be possible for me to adhere to the LCHF diet, but gave it my best shot.

The funeral was a Catholic full mass affair. An excellent service, but very long as full mass funerals tend to be. Well after the ceremony at the church came the ceremony at the cemetery. Then back to the son and daughter’s house for the wake.

Here my diet was at the mercy of the serve-yourself buffet. Which I must admit was a grand spread, with lots of choices. Looking at my results for the end of the day I didn’t do too badly managing to achieve a 45% fat intake against a 27% carbs and 28% protein day, for the details check out the diet for the day, (31/08/2016).

Oh well after a long day and a tiring drive home. I resigned myself to working it off tomorrow.

OK its tomorrow, (01/09/2016). I went to the gym and did a one hour session circuit training. I managed to keep my carbs down, but still not at the 30grm level. Totals for the day = 67% Fat, 14% Carbs, 19% Protein.

It will be interesting to check my weight tomorrow after a good night's sleep.
