Thank you to everybody for your motivation (yesterday's journal). You help so much because you care and I don't want to let any of you down.

I tried to respond to you all, but if I left anyone out, please accept my belated thanks. I'll be re-reading your comments!

PS - even though it is busy here today I am taking a full lunch, and even though it is chilly out today I am walking the full 40 minutes.

Buffy, just catching up with you...read your journal entries, and just to let you know...I completely understand....194 seemed so awesome a year ago...now not so much. :( But it will come. I will get going again! Hope today is an awesome day for you...enjoy your walk!!

Stef - I appreciate your comments - Of course you have got to remember that you've had a rough year. But I think things are back on track for both of us. And, yes, I am having a totally awesome day! You too.

Ok, I just got done catching up on your yesterday journal & I think you have a great plan to move forward with, so here it comes....----++++=====>>>>>>> BIG KICK IN THE BUTT, not sure where I put that whip I got just for you, but if I find it, I may have to use it! Plainly speaking, portion control sucks! I can be terrible at it, but I try. 1600 per day, plus keeping carbs in check, some days are easier than others! But, it is mind over tummy, & I want to win. Sandy's entry today about complacency (I forgot how to spell), really struck a chord.

Keep up the walking, even when weather turns cold, just add another layer of clothes !!! Have a good one.

GG - Ouch - you weren't supposed to use you good foot. I agree - portion control is the worse! But I'm learning And yes, I definitely read Sandy's Journal. Who knew Sandy was a motivational speaker?

Hi Buffy, so glad you got your walking in...it is one of the best exercises for the whole body...or thats what my back doctor told me.. It works all body parts and swinging the arms while doing so is even better...Have a great evening....☺

Bren - Good to know. Fortunately I don't have bad back problems except for morning stiffness. Sounds like more walking will help that.
