Rain has finally stopped! I packed my walking shoes and am getting out of here at lunch time for my walk - will be the first time since Monday.

Tomorrow I've got to go back to square one tomorrow and re-plan my menus - just boring stuff - finding the best combination of low carb/low cal/low GI. Then the really boring stuff - shopping, prepping & cooking. The shelf in my freezer where I keep my emergency snacks is empty again.

Oops - more bitching and griping - sorry!

I will find something fun to do this weekend - and hope you all do the same.

Rain finally stopped here as well. At least you are getting out to exercise, I still haven't started keep procrastinating, other than walking Daisy. I screwed up yesterday was so busy ordered take out Greek salad with Chicken, got home no chicken so it through my carbs fat ratio so bad......damn and blast. I have just ordered the book 4hr Body by Timothy Ferris, it looks interesting, so will share that info.

Yvonne - So sorry about that salad - and I bet they charged you for the chicken! I am a "fair weather exerciser" so am not taking any credit. I need to seriously get into some fall cleaning so that should burn up some calories. Enjoy that book!

Afternoon Buffy, hope you got your walk in or are in the process since its lunch time..LOL...Yeah we have to keep those emergency snacks handy or may wind up eating the not so good stuff for us...Send me some of your snack ideas..I'm running out..LOL

Add that bitching and griping to your exercise log....LOL!! You get extra credit for getting back out there walking on your lunch hour - and on a Friday, to boot!! Enjoy the weekend.

Bren, Sandy, & GG - This walk is so beautiful (nature trail, pond,etc.)that it required no bitching or griping.

Buffy,Glad you had your walk on a nature trail.Mine was walking in a field picking green tomatoes.The wind has been really blowing so its raining leaves.Nice fall carpet... later nonna

Nonna - I ate our last tomato yesterday - really sad now that I have to buy them at the store. BTW - DH really loved the baked cod. Thanks again for all your food ideas.
