I just remembered why I don't eat eggs, I got sick of them on my last diet attempt!
I was silly to start something on a Saturday when my fridge and cupboards weren't yet stocked with "friendly" foods. That will be my mission on Monday, friendly food and a scale! I forgot when I moved that I got rid of my scale so I have no way to weight myself. I only know my start weight because I was at the doctors last week and had to jump on the scale. A scale now would be helpful :-)

Scales are helpful, but don't get to obsessed with it..its only a number on a piece of metal..use other things like the way your clothes fit and the mirror is another way to see if your losing...Have a great day.

Thanks, I do need to keep that in mind. The tightening of the clothes is one thing that is driving me crazy so I hope I will feel them loosening with time :)

I agree, scale is needed in maintaining, but in losing you can get by without it.
And it's not silly to start on a Saturday, Sunday, with full cupboards or an empty fridge. Don't put it off until Monday. Start today, right now, even if it's five to midnight on a Friday night.
