A gorgeous Saturday! Started out cool & breezy. Been busting my butt on an old grade school rennovation. Won't need any additional exercise today. Did plenty of walking and strength training tearing things apart. Finally broke through the 238 lb. barrier. Woke up to 236.5 lbs. Hallelujah! It may still fluctuate up and down, but I know that I have broken through. My 5K challenge starts Monday, and I am eating in moderation in preparation for it. Eighteen pounds so far, and I can tell it doesn't take near as much to fill me up; I just have to work at quitting when I feel full. Going to a cookout tonight; if I eat more than one dog, I am not going to beat myself up for it.

Update: I did eat 2 dogs with buns and 2 servings of chili and potato salad. It was good. I passed on the smores. Not a terrible fall. I knew I would let my guard down before I went, and I allowed it and enjoyed it.
