I started my workout/diet regime about 2 weeks ago to lose a goal weight of 50 pounds by March of next year. I would eat normally but add a 30 minute gym mondays-saturdays to start (sundays are a break day to eat some sweets and relax so i don't cheat during the week). With the 2 weeks efforts, I was able to lose 3 pounds. I was pretty darn proud to see the scale moving in the opposite direction.
Today I was supposed to start adding healthier foods and more intensive activities at the gym.. but alas, I have fallen ill to a sore throat, earache and various other symptoms. I should normally be going to the gym at this time, but I cannot due to these symptoms and I feel my 2 weeks worth of efforts are going down the drain.
I do know that I must take this as a chance to rest up well and not overexert myself in order to get better quickly. I just hope that's within 3 days. lol.
I wonder if there are alternative ways to 'exercise' while being sick and bedbound?
