Im definitely OverTheBulk after 18.5 weeks in a surplus. Had to try on my hoochie daddy shorts to see if they still fit for the start of my running training next week. I just cant eat anymore no clue what my final weight will be but its been a success regardless. shoulders, arms and legs definitely grew the most. The cut starts now

ddrud Thank you. I'm.not an expert but through my research and my own experiences the things I've come up with are dont cut any calories form protein it's even more important to keep it high in a cut. keep your cardio zone 2 and don't overdue it. do something different lifting wise from what youdid in the bulk so for me I usually lift in the 8 to 15 rep range I'm going to switch to low reps and focus on keeping as much strength as possible. just doing something novel can stimulate new growth. anytime I give advive someone shits on it so I expect that to happen here as well 🤣 I didn't start liaing muscle till my maintenance stage I did Great with the current last year. hope that helps

Yearofhealth2023 haha too funny thanks. Umm honestly I don't feel at my best lol that's why I'm cutting things short. The temporary fat gain isn't bothering me at all but I just feel sluggish and ive been battling to try and gain weight for weeks now im totally over it. But I get what you were saying yes if I look back on. Where I started it is pretty shocking what consistency can do to a person. Google photos reminded me I built my home gym two years ago tommorow pretty insane how I've transformed in 2 years.

OTB i will tell you this from my 40+ years in and out of the gym up and down in weight tho i never got technically “fat” till i was 50 and the prednisone issue, anyway i digress, i will tell you that i personally was able to go 5-8 years being super dedicated about my weight about cardio about lifting weights and then i would spend years coasting, not working out but keeping my weight down thru Cico only because i would jut get so tired (70-80 hr workweeks often didnt help). If i could tell my younger self one thing it would be JUST DO IT. It doesnt get easier as we get older and the strength and mobility is so valuable. I have seen people 20 years younger than me that can barely move. Keep it up brother. You look fantastic and you are setting such a good model for your children to emulate. Not to mention the memories they will have when they are grown about their rock star dad and the workouts done together. Bravo brother🥰

ohh man I thought this might happen the cut starts now I just can't keep eating that much 18.5 weeks is good enough In my mind. heading out to enjoy the warmer then normal temps by taking a hike... time to burn some Calories

@OTB thanks for those tips. Haha you're so right, anything anyone says, welll, this is the internet, surely someone out there will disagree and potentially with strong/unkind words 🤣 My biggest potential fail point is definitely overdoing cardio I think. I will try to keep it light. It's been kind of easy to stay light lately since my cardio feels like pure trash this winter anyway lol
