Today I amazed myself by running for 20 minutes without stopping or breaking into a walk, on day 3 of week 5 of the C25K plan. I had to nurse my partner on his return from hospital and didn't have time to run or do any serious exercise for a week: I had done day 1 and 2 of week 5 on 12 and 14 October but then only completed the week today. However, when we both thought my partner's condition was improving, it suddenly and unexpectedly took a turn for the worst this afternoon. He was in serious pain and I had to call 999. So tonight, he is back to the hospital again... I called him and he is feeling much better but the prognosis is he may have to stay in hospital for two days. I actually wonder if they didn't discharge him too early the first time.
I am missing him badly already. I will spend time tomorrow morning to clean his room and change the sheets and I will go to the hospital in the afternoon to see him. He is actually in another town and it may take the entire afternoon and possibly the early evening to get there and back.
