The quest to hit my last year end goal continues ..bench top set tonight was 178×8. Been adding 6-7 lbs to my bench a week. Have to hit that 225 by Christmas!!

TheUnhealthyDaddy yeah I've had that 225 bench 315 squat and 405 deadlift goal for awhile and the bench is the only one I haven't hit yet. I tried it 2.5 weeks ago but failed again. A few days later my best set was 165 x8 and 2 weeks later I got it up 13 lbs to 178 x 8 I should be able to hit it now but going wait till Christmas weel to try it. Ive been putting more focus on shoulders then chest this bulk once I hit the 225 I'm switching back to dumbell bench instead of barbell now that I got some heavier dumbells to work with.
