I completed Day 3 of Week 2 from the C25K program this morning but the app crashed twice and the cramps in my calves felt worse. Yesterday, I went to the gym for an hour and I think I should have allowed a day's rest before tackling the last session of Week 2: I got punished for it as I suffered worse cramps than usual. My body wasn't fully rested and there is the possibility I wasn't hydrated adequately. I will make sure that I drink water before running to see if it makes a difference.
I went through day 2 of week 2 last sunday and it went like a breeze. As I remembered that guy the last time and didn't want to be disturbed during my exercise, I didn't jog within the vicinity of my home but ran and walked briskly all the way to the Old Town instead. It was sunny and the Hastings Food and Wine Festival was in full swing, the air was full of delicious smells of food and I could hear live music. I love jazz and thought I hadn't been to a live concert for a long time. I don't take money or even change with me when I go and exercise as I like to run light :) so I didn't actually go to the event. I simply walked back home.
