Today, May 12th is my birthday... all of 32 years old. I'm thankful to God for allowing me to see another awesome year. My party on May 10th was spectacular and I ate VERY poorly over the last 3- 4 weeks.. a lot of take out. Life happens, just have to work with it. I'm thinking of either going back to my unreliable digital scale because I can see if I even gained 0.5 lbs or weigh myself every 2 or 4 weeks, will decide soon; I do not know what my weight is but I know I gained about 3 or 4 lbs. Anyhow, I continue... Have a great day everyone. I know I will.

Happy birthday Charm!!! If you gained just start back at it the next day. You've been doing great so far, you can get back on track easily. Just don't get discouraged.

Hi Jamaica. Thank you so very much. I definitely will. My hubby gifted me an elliptical (it more a manual one), which is what I wanted. So I'm getting my grind on an will do an official weight check, using my digital scale on Sunday. Thanks for the encouragement.

I'd like to try one of those. Because of lower back disc damage, walking can be interesting at times. My right leg has a tendency to just give out. Which, if I'm not careful, means taking a header into whatever is in front of me - the earth usually. Treadmills have the potential to hurl me off the back end when my leg quits working. :-) I understand that elliptical training gives more of a full-body workout than just walking. Let me know how it works for you after a month or so. If it's worth it, I might consider getting one too for cardio.

Sure no prob. I understand that my mom and aunt suffers from a lower back disc issue too, they can't even do much exercise. I can tell you now, after 3 (15 minute) sessions, my hips, legs and arms are burning like crazy and are deliciously sore. I have asthma, so I'm slowly building up my time, so I don't pass out from breathing so hard.... ain't nobody got time for that! Lol
