Hi,hunni. Nice to hear from you. Been wondering how you are. I think we are both back to the drawing board again lol. Never mind. Onwards and downwards! Yes my wee grandson will be 2 in April. Little pup had his 'op' on Thursday so walking is limited to 2x10 minute walks a day for this week. I suppose I could drag my exercise bike out again but to be honest I find it totally mind numbingly boring, plus it makes my back and my bum hurt! I've been trying to focus on eating lots of protein at the moment as it's supposed to increase the metabolic rate. So far this week I've actually put on 4 pounds! haha.Tonight I'm opening a bottle of Pinot Noir and to hell with the consequences. Again, great to hear from you x

The wine sounds like a great plan.... Can't believe the grandson is 2... Time flies so fast.... Don't worry about the weight gain it will probably drop off next week make sure you drink plenty of water.... And im sure the pup will be up and about in no time and yeah leave the exercise bike in the cupboard it's best to get out for your 2 ten minute walks it's still exercise and the fresh air does you good x

Haha, yes. Not had a glass of wine since Xmas. Not quite a complete dry January but hey, what the hell? My back has been chronic recently with all of the cold weather too so done a lot of laying about on the sofa. Also not really been eating that much either, practically forcing myself to eat 1500 cals a day at the moment so I guess my body is just getting used to 3 meals a day again. Hence the focus on lots of protein to try and ramp up my metabolism. Time will tell. How's work? Are you the boss yet? x

Work is good, I pulled my back 3 months ago and it's only just starting to get better I was off work for 3 weeks and had a phased return for a further 3 weeks, its been a nightmare but I'm getting there... Slowly. Hopefully your body will adjust to the extra meals/calories and the weight will drop off.... Enjoy the wine sounds like you have earned it x

Thanks Funny, can't wait till wine o'clock lol. I am going to use a little bit to make a peppercorn sauce to go with my steak tonight tho but I anticipate I will drink the whole bottle lol x

Thank you Noori. I must admit I was struggling to eat it all but at least it stopped me from snacking at night
