Struggling to keep my carbs low, I am a big bread, pasta, and meat eater, like making my own Italian stuff like lasagne spaghetti bolognaise carbonara etc, love crispy crunchy bread, French stick or bake my own sourdough bread, I would love to eat a more Atkins style or the carnivore diet with meat every day, but who can afford that nowadays with costs that meat has risen too lately. Not feeling very hungry today so just had some leftover pork shoulder on a couple of white bread buns, calories are under control but its hard to cut out carbs....trying to stay under 25% is not easy for me..

meat has gotten really expensive. my local butcher does excellent deals though. Bread and pasta can be replaced with more healthier options like those bread thins, rice, cous cous. or just having meals that don't require those ingredients.
