Still off-sick from work post-surgery; grounded on the sofa for the last three weeks, barely able to move without ripping stitches. At least things are finally starting to heal properly though and I'm actually getting something of a handle on my eating again (ha! Famous last words...)

Absolutely desperate to get moving; there's nothing like being *prevented* from moving to make one really want to! Trying not to stress about how much teaching I'm missing, all the marking that's not getting done, and publication deadlines I've already missed. Stress just makes me want to comfort eat.

Trying to look forward, instead, to my Spring Break U.S. vacation. Really hope south of Virginia is warm when we're there this April; my hubbie and I are craving sunshine.
