It has been 3 weeks since my comeback so time to do a progress report. I've lost 9 pounds in that 3 weeks. Not breaking any records but definitely worth the effort.

I'm loosely following Atkins 40, while strictly sticking to the 16:8 Intermittent Fasting protocol. My personal schedule: eat breakfast after 10 AM and finish dinner by 6 PM.

Got to thinking that even if the science behind this is all bunk (and I am not saying that it is), it is still a great program. It is helping me with self control as I can no longer just grab a snack anytime day or night. And that keeps me mindful to eat good meals during my eating window - because after 6 PM it will be too late. I am cut off until the next day.
