Day 1. Weighted in at 100kg on the dot. I feel completely uncomfortable in my body and miserable in my mind. I hate looking in the mirror. My body has been hijacked by my comfort eating, but I think I'm at the point where my will to own my body again outweighs any benefit I get from comfort eating.
So I've taken off work to focus on getting this low carb thing sorted. Last week I got 36 hours in and was exhausted. Yesterday I got 16 hours in and before dinner I was fit to explode with rage. Dinner didn't fix it, but two Tim tams and 2 mini ice creams did 😒 I keep postponing it until I get a few days free of work but it doesn't happen. I'm ready, I'm prepared, I'm motivated and the time is now.
So I'm going to treat this as if I'm sick. I've warned the family I might be grumpy. I'm going to use my sick leave to bunker down and get this thing going. If I feel like sh!t, food is NOT going to fix it. Food is my false friend, it makes me feel better while sabotaging me behind my back.
Today I'll have a high cal intake but I want to go LCHP without feeling hungry, because I know I won't feeling hungry tomorrow, then I can just ride on that wave.
