Take it easy on the comfort food as you are not comforting your weight loss and your body works even harder to process foods when you are inactive. Try adding some ground ginger to all your foods as this will help your immune system and suppress your appetite a little. Ginger will also help with inflammation before and after a workout. No need to be depressed you can do range of motion exercise in your bed like the physical therapist do in hospital for patients and some hand and ankle weight and you got a workout, while you recover from the cold or flu.
