EMG? It's a tough test.  

I answered then scrolled down and saw James, James Bond. Too funny.  

Sorry you are going through that. You're in my prayers. 

I know exactly what you had done and there is no way anyone could relax having that test done. 

Oh yeah, emg, I used to help with those. Did you have any electrodes on your head? If so evoked response testing. Tracing nerve reactions through your spinal column into your brain, used to do those.  

No electrodes on the head,wholefoodnut, just arms. Second session, needles and current all over. Actually not as painful as first. 

So an emg, glad it wasn't as painful. I've had them done to me so I understood what it's like. It's an extremely informative method of checking nerve function to the muscle. Of course it is used in conjunction with other biological testing in order to confirm a specific diagnosis.  

C.C. You are a great example of making "lemonade out of lemons". Not that it's funny about what you are going through at all. I admire your moxie. I have yet to learn that. However I do appreciate you making me laugh this morning. Wishing you a good Thursday, my friend. Truly, J.J. 

You are keeping your sense of humor and that is an excellent way to through off the stress of the day. We are all here to support you and encourage you while you undergo these test. You are stronger than this and the pain will only last for a short time, but you will gain information that will help you to be a healthier person. I send you healing and loving energy. You GOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!

I have had that test. It is awful. I am so sorry you are going through it. I hope your results have the help you need. Hugs I will send the prayers you need. 

I've had the test before but I don't think as extensively as they're doing for you. I hope all this yields something they can work with to make things better. Good to see that you are keeping your sense of humor. :) 

I had the test done on me on my right arm I had unler nerve damage any who IM PRAYING BIG TIME FOR THEM TEST RESULTANTS TO COME BACK AND HOPING THAT THEY KNOW WHAT TO DO <3 after going through chemo to me its amazing what medicine can do to tell ya its truly amazing and I hate taking any kind of pills I feel a lot different about pills now ,,, if I need a medicine to help me I will do it ,,, lost my dearest lady friend she said she wasn't putting posin in her body her cancer was the size of a walnut I had it in 4 places under my navel the size of a large orange to baby ones on each side then 3 inches on my spine all gone PRAYING MUCH Chris and yes God has given quite the scenes of and I humor do the same <3 its a great picker upper <3 Love to ya <3 Chin up <3

You have my prayers, I remember when I was 21 and I was having pain in my neck and shoulder and they did a shock type test- it was 8am till noon- my nerves were rattled, I called off work for the rest of the day - my insurance charge me $10 they paid the doctor $1100- I am now 46, it's amazing some of the stuff I remember- I have been back to the neurologist since and my back seem to heal up after a couple massage therapy- best of luck to you!!!! 

Auto correct- Not been back to the neurologist! !!!
