Trying to be positive this morning. Instead of grumbling because I haven't lost any weight, I feel I should be thankful I haven't gained any. It is so hard for most people to maintain a weight loss - and here I'm doing it!

Hey Buffy - it's not ever easy to have a day or a week or two weeks where you just trudge along with no change... but sparking your attitude to be in favor of seeing the positive!!! well now, that's progress no dress size can measure. Think back to when the scale was in hiding, and a weight gain produced a shrug of your shoulders and an "OH Well!" - NOT ANYMORE! Rev up that inner determination of yours... and see all things new again! YOU can do this! YOU will do this! And all things will be right with the world once again :) !!! Much Love.

Thanks guys - but I really meant what I said. The way my body fights to hold onto weight I really am thankful that I haven't gained any. I can be as patient as I need to be because I've got the rest of my life to get it done.

Hey there BuffyBear...the way I look at your weight history, you've lost at least 2 pounds this month and perhaps as much as 4, which is a pound a week! Looks to me as if March was a steady month but that April has been a month for losses for you!!! Congrat's (even though it may not feel like it)!!

The only reason I didn't congratulate you not gaining... is because those darn fluctuations are so common - that any gain or loss w/in an every day basis .... has to be looked at long term in averages. Women in general can go up or down w/in 5 lbs (overnight) from just jerking around their systems through lack of water, high sodium, and too much fiber. So... glad you haven't gained, glad you are patient, and glad you are seeing the world thru some positive perspectives! :))))

Aw Bear, just hang in there. One of these days you're going to hop on the scale and see a nice drop. Your attitude is great and so spot on... you have the rest of your life and because of these great healthy changes you are making, your life is going to be that much longer. Many Hugs

Buffy, I really like what you said about having the rest of your life to lose the weight. In the great sands of time, this day is so minute. You can be as patient as you need to be, because what is the alternative? Getting yourself upset is just futile. Relax and be happy! I'll be ready to celebrate with you when you lose another pound! I agree with mysterious shrinking lady. Take one day at a time, you will lose, you are not alone, don't ever hesitate to raise your hand and ask for help and prayers that you will be able to be successful. I am reading alot about using your tape measure and going to the site http://lowcarbbetterhealth.com to enter your measurements and get guidance. The scale can always throw me off.

Nobettertime - Thanks for that. I took my measurements before I started the Fitness for Life challenge and will take them again at the end of it. We'll see!
