I jumped out of bed this morning with a fresh positive outlook on my health. I have recently been indulging in audio books playing in the background whilst working and ce across a better of a eye opening title. "Atomic habit" - although I have not gotbthroughnit all, it has explained how habits (good and bad) are formed. It has made me realise my cravings and how I start habits to consistently look for rewards.
So far it has helped me avoid triggers to eat and stopped me grazing away at pastries like a sleep walking automaton.
It is also the reason I write this. Trying to ended good habits of self reflection rather than self indulgence in food. I want to love and look after myself. Just starting to understand that loving self is not consistently treating my stomach to tasty food.
First steps forward.
