This coming Saturday, I have joined up to walk a 5k to defeat ALS. A coworker of mine was recently diagnosed with this incurable illness and he was forced to take a early retirement. I'm walking in his honor to find a cure.

Thanks Kate... It still comes to a shock that he had to leave us that way.. It just makes you realize that illness can hit any one of us at any given time. I'm very thankful for my health and I'm going to do EVERYTHING I can NOT to take it for granted anymore and abusing my body.
