Notching down slowly, kept to my calorie goal, did a long walk of 3.4 miles, followed by a brisk cold hose bath out in the dark yard when Hogan got skunked again at roughly 8:15. Followed that up by randomly deciding to wipe down all surfaces he touched, then decided why not mop the entire kitchen and bathroom, followed by a bleach solution. Oh, and did I mention that I decided to get skunked by osmosis? Delightful night. Skunk escaped, no unsupervised visits out in the yard for Hogan at night anymore. The one bonus is that Hogan will now endure a blowout with the hair dryer without fighting me. It's one thing to be furry and wet when it's 80 degrees, not so much in the 50's. Numbers are showing as water and muscle up, blob down. I expect a drop tomorrow if I keep to my plan today. I also played with the weights during an unending call yesterday. Poor Hogan and poor you - I think that you should both stay in the house for a while - it is just safer inside for both of you .... I love the statement about your Mom being so mad that she did not yell at you. Poor Hogan.

Bobby's been skunked twice, when he was really young. I have a skunk and a fox that come to my backyard or deck looking for bird food almost every night. If Bobby "has" to go out after dark, I turn on all the lights, shake the screen door slider and I go out on the deck first just to make sure we don't have company. It takes forever to get rid of that smell!

The face and tail say it all… I made a mistake again and momma is not thrilled with me!! Poor Hogan and poor you. Our Jack was a 100 pound black lab chow mix with a really thick coat and undercoat! And he hated the hairdryer too!! Bath time was a workout!!
I can so commiserate!! By the time Jack was washed and dried I needed a bath myself!! Or a fifth of scotch!!😂
