Hello All, today I think I need a little push. It is 10am, I have a load of laundry in, I need a shower, plus I need to go out and finish picking some green beans. It was raining earlier, and now it is just cloudy and overcast, and I have no desire to go to the gym. Tempted to look up a video and do something from home, but I know myself and I will find something, anything else to do besides the video.
Anyway, I am off to have a bowl of cereal, then get my day started, with what I have no idea yet, but I have to at least start to move. So, I hope that you all have a wonderful and blessed day. !!! :)

Sometimes I just start walking and that's enough to give me the drive to do more. Better just to do something than to beat yourself up for doing nothing.

CR I believe the home workout center is the key. It doesn't need to replace going to a gym, but it takes away a lot of excuses when you can't get there, or decide you don't have the time to 'go'. Travel time is very minimal to your basement. Sherry. Why would you bother picking green beans. Yuck! :) Blessings back for you. Easy on the cereal (he says as he plans his huckleberry/oatmeal pancakes).

A shower might wake you up a little, then if you really don't want to go to the gym, crank some music. It works for me! I turn off all other distractions;computer and TV, and put some 'energetic' music on, and do my exercises.

I've been feeling sluggish too, my friend. Even on the tennis court, I struggled to get my butt moving! Hope this passes quickly for us both! xoxox

Sherri, I completely understand your lack of motivation. I don't even need to go to the gym, just go upstairs to my treadmill and I can find everything else in the world to do but go up there. Especially stay on this computer and fritter away my day. I'm hoping that sharing my feelings with you may give me the motivation I need to go up and do even 10 minutes on it. If I do I'll come back her and let you know.

Some days I just feel aimless too. Lots to do - just things I'm not particularly in the mood to do! Enjoy your green beans! YUM - fresh garden grown veggies! Will they be for dinner or do you ever can or freeze them?

Finally, after not using the treadmill for almost a year I walked for 25 minutes. Thanks for the impetus SherriC. Watching TV made it go fast.

Motivation and discipline is what is missing at times…but go out and do it…pull yourself off the couch and get out there!!! That's what I need to do right now!!! lol
