Weather here is gradually edging toward spring. Am looking forward to working outside this weekend.

Have discovered that my body only tolerates exercise every other day. Am going to go with that schedule - even though I'll have to record another FAILURE on the 50 lb. Weight Loss Challenge. Maybe when the weather warms up my joints will free up a bit.

Break over - have to get back to work.

Hi ya buffy, if you have lost any, your not a failure. I am losing but at a very sloooow rate. I call that successful. Hope your weekend is a fun filled one for you. Exercising every other day is good. Hang in there buddy. Summer is on its way and we all can get out of the house. Cabin fever can cause us to stall big time...Salute.....Bren

lol Buffy - you and me both on that damn 50 lb challenge - I'll be lucky if I am 50 ounces down at the end of it!!! Did you measure yourself yet - this is keeping me sane, I am definitely seeing a difference in my shape with the exercises I am doing and am recording the scale weight but not letting it bother me (too much!!). Once we can get out and about in our gardens we'll be exercising without even realising it......

No - in the past have not done well measuring - can do it 3 times and get different readings each time. But am encouraged that jeans fit better (less of a muffin top). And yes, I think spring will definately help!

Bren - I have lost 8 lbs since I started this in January (first 3 lbs. before I found fatsecret) so I am not totally discouraged. I know from experience that the next 8 lbs. will be harder. You hang in there too!

Buffy, I had to lose 60 pounds before I could even consider exercise because my feet hurt so bad. As far as challenges go, I decided not to join anymore, I don't want to have to compete. This is a journey not a competition. It is individual for everyone and to be labeled failure is not positive.
