So far, so good. Sometimes it sucks being at home all day...food is right there and I can cook things that taste good. I don't even have to cook some foods that can get me in trouble. Fruit is like candy to me, but 3 clementines, 1 banana, 1 and a half apples, 2 oranges, or 2 plums all are about 100 calories each. (There's also pasta, yogurt, cereal and milk and PBJs, all which can be or become high calorie very quickly.) Since they are sugar based carbs and not a whole lot of fiber and protein they don't keep me full, they look good and they're RIGHT THERE. I don't have faith in my ability to resist because I haven't resisted well recently- at least in the evening. That is when I do the worst usually. I have to remember that I am not powerless and this is a choice. If I choose to discipline myself I am choosing to reach my goal, or reach it sooner. I am choosing to treat myself better. I need to do that because what I am doing now isn't good.
