That’s weird, mine keeps a week easy, usually longer.

This is going to sound crazy but turning the cottage
cheese container upside down in the fridge helps it to keep longer.

I can see storing it upside down working because you’re getting rid of that air on the surface. I love cottage cheese, Petra, you can do so much with it.

I buy that one, too. But I alternate cottage cheese and Greek yogurt every other week so I don’t get sick of it. Hasn’t happened yet. 😋

Mermee just be careful if you store it upside down. When you go to open it you will have to turn it right side up to take the lid off. You will not see any fuzzy blue stuff because it will be on the bottom. :) I don't understand the logic in turning it upside down because you are not removing air. It just goes to the bottom of the container which is now the top. As you eat it try transferring it into smaller containers that is the only way I see to remove the air from the container.

you can also accomplish the same with a piece of cling wrap. it's reducing surface area, not removing the actual air.
