Opened my window a little early today with a bullet proof coffee and one of my favorite dishes!
Egg on toast.
Today I sprinkled it with some wild caught Atlantic Salmon left over from yesterday and drizzled with Za’atar.
If you’ve never tried Za’atar, you can make it on your own. It is commonly made from dried thyme, oregano, sumac, salt and sesame seeds. You can use it dry or infuse it with olive oil and drizzle or spread it which is what I like to do.
I make Za'atar pretty frequently, but I also buy Za’atar and Za’atar spread and other yummy things from Terranean Herbs.
