Last week marked the end of the body fat percentage competition at work. I had promised my kids a pancake party at Cracker Barrel when it was over. So yesterday, Saturday, we did it and I had the one thing I really miss on my TSPA diet, the combination of butter (fat) and bread products (carbs). If you are trying to lose body fat, you can have either carbs or fat, but not much of both in the same day. So yesterday at breakfast I went crazy on the butter and pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and even some grits. I showed some self control by avoiding potatoes and jelly, but I must have had half a stick of butter on those pancakes.
It was everything I'd hoped for! ;-)
I then ate pizza for supper, which is way off the diet because it consists of too much fat and carbs, but I enjoyed it anyway.
So today, I'm back on my plan. I'm starting this week with a fat flush and will be continuing on my march to 10% body fat, which I hope to achieve by roughly the first of July.
