Sunny at last. Weeding and cutting back of some perennials in the front garden. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny again, but more humid with showers late in the day. Perhaps I will be able to get outside the fence on the north side tidied.
Talked to Peter today about how I much prefer baking to cooking "meat and potatoes meals". Restricting my baking to small oatmeal or bran muffins made with Greek yogurt and blueberries or raisins. 4 gm. of fat in each, helping to keep my fibre intake between 22-28 gm/day.
Realize that Peter and I eat only one meal together most days as he gets up late and has brunch, then nothing until dinner, then snacks occasionally in the evening. I'm up earlier and have breakfast and lunch, focusing on fibre, protein and healthy fats. Even dinner we often have different sides; e.g., today I am doing chicken breasts on low-calorie buns with potato wedges for him and baked sweet potato for me. Corn for him, broccoli for me.
