Well, I since I have started to walk on a regular bases- I know it is not fast but walking bout 3 mph- I am trying to walk the distance from Warsaw Indiana to Louisville (that is where one of my sisters live -- and then my next goal is to "walk" to Lincoln Nb. where my another sister lives Today I have just crossed the 1/2 way point to Claypool, Indiana (little past w 400 s)--using the treadmill that is.. not physically walking to Louisville or Lincoln... I am using mapmywalk.com to measure the distance... My biggest problem is my right knee, it hurts even to walk that fast... If it was not for that pain, I would have bumped up my speed on the treadmill.. maybe next week, I have to wait and see... Better mood today, Just had to get up and get moving..that is another problem.. just getting up and doing it..lol.. I think that the battle that I faced last night, is over--for now..I am NOT putting my guard down.. One nice feeling that I had yesterday, (I work on the management team at a local fast food joint in Indiana) was that I had to put stock away at work, and finally I could fit into one of their winter coats (3x) to put the freezer away-- and yes, I did zip it up.. I know that their coats are a little larger than the size that the coat says.. but still it was a good feeling.. I have about 58 lbs to the half way point of my goal--(long ago the doctor told me the goal he wanted me to be at-- that is what I am going on, and the 'finish line'-- yeah I know that there is no finish line.. it is a life style..)
